How do i recover tv shows on apple tv that were accidentally deleted?

i was syncing my itunes and apple tv, but i didn't want some of the tv shows on my computer. so i deleted them off my itunes. i went on my apple tv and they were gone. i figure it is because my itunes and apple tv were still synced. but is there a way to get the episodes back without buying them again?
