Turbo HD error - 1728

I have VideoDrive 2.7.10 (just about to upgrade to 2.8 beta). I also have a Turbo.264 HD dongle accelerator.
Whenever I try an import (method 5) I always get this error message at my first attempt:
Cannot communicate with Turbo.264 HD. Restart it and try again. Details: Turbo.264 HD got an error: Can’t get isEncoding. (code -1728)
If I re-queue and try again it works fine.
Not fatal, but annoying nonetheless.
Any suggestions (other than upgrade to 2.

This issue should be addressed in version 2.8.01. A beta is now available here: http://cl.ly/V5RI/download/VideoDrive.zip
